First, we must agree that ‘profit’ isn’t always defined in dollars. If we agree to that here is a short list of ways to use a digital book and results that you could experience.

Use you digital book to build your subscriber list by giving it away. Instead of letting them see that the digital book is free, charge for the digital book and then explain that the free digital book is a limited special offer. This allows you to build your opt-in list expanding your sphere of influence.

Create an abbreviated digital book containing a section from all your soft cover books and use it as a viral marketing tool. If they like it, give them the option of ordering the full versions.

Consider allow buddy’s in their networking efforts to give away your digital book. You will be placed in front of potential clients that you would have no way of reaching. Producing increased and high impact exposure!

Publish your digital book on a disk or CD-ROM then include it with your direct mail packages. This can increase the number of people who buy your product or service.

Hold a contest on your web site so people can win your digital book. You’ll get free advertising by submitting your contest ad to free contest or sweepstakes directories.

Publish your digital book on a disk or CD-ROM and use it in back of the room sales when speaking. It’s easier and cheaper to ship 100 CD’s than 100 paperbacks.

There are 100’s of ways to use a digital book (almost anything you can do with a hard or paperback book you can do with a digital book and often times cheaper).
